Temple Fire & Rescue Station 1

Today, Temple Fire & Rescue station 1 houses companies Squad 1, Truck 1, and Command. The department currently has 8 fire houses throughout the city.

The Temple Fire Department was organized in 1883 and consisted of The Blacks Ladder & Hose Company and The Watchful Hose Company No. 1 ( H.C Black was the foreman).
