Earlier today, I shared a post comparing school districts in the Temple/Belton area. I want to sincerely apologize to Temple ISD, its educators, staff, students, families, and the broader Temple community for the way I worded that post.
My intention was to help people relocating to Central Texas understand that school information can be an important part of their own home search. But the wording I used was too broad, too one-sided, and did not reflect the full picture of the work happening inside Temple ISD.
I understand how it could have come across as dismissive of a district, its campuses, and the people who serve students every day. That was not my intent, and I am sorry.
I have removed the post. Going forward, when I discuss schools or district information, I will be more careful to point people toward official public sources, encourage buyers to review the data for themselves, and avoid broad statements that do not capture the full context.
I respect Temple ISD and the families, teachers, staff, and students who make up this community. I appreciate the chance to correct this.
