Our specially equipped wine trail shuttle is great to experience the Stagecoach Wine Trail. We offer three routes, Northen, Central and Southern to allow you to maximize your ticket and experience all the trail has to offer. Two Christmas season celebrities will make special appearances in downtown Temple on First Friday, December 3rd.
So join us this Friday. Here's a full list of First Friday activities.
The Hub - Temple, TX Will be open until 9:00 PM and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at The Hub for photos. Also, Grown-ups will be served free holiday cheer beverages.
Mexiko Cafe – Will hold a Christmas block party a block with The Grinch, and with a live performance by the band: Astron+55 They’ll also offer lots of vendors, and the Grinch will make a special appearance and will try to steal our Christmas spirit. Kids will be given the opportunity to interact and take free photos on their parents’ phones/cameras with The Grinch.
Bird Creek Burger Co. - will offer ½ priced appetizers (excluding chili) and happy hour all day. They will also have a special guest appearance by Santa Claus.

Artist 2 Artist Showcase - will stage an art show and vendor sale at the Main Street Courtyard at 5 S. Main Street. This month they will feature a toy collection drive, so please bring toys to be distributed to kids this Christmas. ...and also,
Artist Noel Johnson - – will hold an art sale on the sidewalk next door to O’Briens Irish Pub.
O'Briens Irish Pub Temple, Tx – will present live shows by Midnight Tradesmen//Jonna Mae & the MaeFlies//Matthew MacDonald Show @ O’Brien’s Irish Pub
Darling Decor & More – Will be showing off their recently expanded shop. They’re now at both ends of the block – 100 N Main Street and 110 N Main Street. They will also be offering discounts on some Christmas-themed items.
Mo’s Rail Yard Saloon – Will offer discounts on selected beverages, and they’ll also be holding a Christmas Toy Drive, so those who bring an un-wrapped toy will get their 2nd drink free. In addition, they’ll put on a live show by 'Sammy G' at 10 PM.

J. Kowboy - Will offer complimentary deserts for First Friday guests.
Fire Base Brewing Company - Will be partnering with King Solomon Masonic Lodge #1427 in the staging and celebrating of a special Christmas block party for the 4th Annual Blue Santa Christmas Toy Drive. This event at 8 S 1st Street will include a food truck, games, giveaways, vendors, and entertainment by Sammy G! Make a child's Christmas this year by donating a new, unwrapped toy at the Brewery!
BJ's Brewery Tasting Room - Will have the Flexin' Texan food truck on site and will have lots of cold craft beverages on tap for First Friday guests.
The Green Door – Will offer 20 % off an appetizer when you mention First Friday, and they will present a live piano show by Russell Boyd.
The Parlour Antiques & Oddities - Will be open with a Christmas-shoppers’-reception with free snacks and beverages. Shoppers will also be allowed to spin their prize wheel for discounts and cool prizes.
Corkys Wine and Beer – Will be closed in the early evening for a private event, but will open later, at 10:00 PM, for a karaoke-night with DJ Bryan Houge. Also, Tour Temple will offer their normal Friday evening 4-hour Temple Brew Trail Tours.

We'd of Wes Albanese Photography captured this great photo of the Pool of Tears Memorial during the recent storm, many may not know the memorial is even here by City Hall. This great tribute is a memory of our fallen military members from our region, and lists their names in granite on the boundary. Wes commissioned only 20 of these prints and I was lucky to get the first one, it's on display at Corkys.

As sky rocketing gas prices have hit us all in our pocket books, transportation companies like Tour Temple have to deal with shrinking margins. I am reporting that beginning next week all new bookings will include a fuel surcharge. As soon as we see prices returning to a lower figure we will suspend those charges, but for now we are faced with a short-term approach. Part day limo and shuttle rentals will add $25, an all day rental is $50. -dan
