Thank you for your presence and support. Neighbors, colleagues, church family, loyal patrons who have supported every play over the years, and new friends I met this weekend.

Hello! I’m the teacher who just brought her students to see your performance! I wanted to again thank you for allowing us to witness such a great powerful performance!
It was a strong representation for my students because it moved learning beyond the classroom and allowed them to see Fences interpreted by professional actors in a live setting. They were able to witness how tone, body language, pacing, and dialogue choices shape meaning—elements that are often abstract when read on the page. Engaging with you all reinforced the relevance of literature, validated students’ academic work, and demonstrated how critical thinking, collaboration, and the arts intersect in real-world careers. This experience modeled professionalism, intellectual curiosity, and cultural appreciation, while empowering students to see themselves as active participants in meaningful academic spaces.
