Friends of the Barton Creek area joined with volunteers from the Daughters of the American Revolution at White Rock Cemetery for our semi-annual clean-up project. It was a wonderful interfaith effort, made even better by a local business that generously provided breakfast for the volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who donated their time and energy to help care for this historic cemetery. We appreciate all who participated and made the day a success!

Did you know Realize The Dream is trying to reach 100 million hours of service hours by 2029 in honor of Martin Luther King’a Birthday? The youth in Georgetown, TX are getting a head start! Check out their MLK Service day. MLK Service can be done anytime of the year.

🎉 On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, approximately 130 Georgetown youth came together to serve their community through meaningful projects that spread kindness, connection, and support.

From writing letters to veterans and kindergarten students to creating kindness rocks, assembling stress balls for local schools, and contributing to a community kindness quilt, these young leaders demonstrated the power of service in action.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped honor Dr. King’s legacy by making a positive impact in Georgetown.

The stars and stripes have been there for every chapter of this country's story. And in 20 days they'll be there for its biggest birthday yet.

So go ahead and fly it proud, today and every day.

Our hearts are with Midland, TX, in the aftermath of today's shooting.

As a member of the Blood Emergency Readiness Corp, we rotate on-call status to send aid to other blood centers serving an area when a mass casualty event occurs. In times like today, we are stepping in to help a fellow local blood center.

After sending multiple units to support victims of the shooting in Midland this morning, we are calling on the community to help ensure continued care for local patients in need. If you can and are eligible, please schedule a donation: weareblood.org/donate.
