We love Jesus, so we want everyone to encounter Him đ
Thatâs the heart behind these worship nights. A simple gathering to turn our focus back to Him and to let His presence meet us right where we are.
Come tired, full, distracted, or unsureâhowever you come, you belong here.
Join us for the next BIS worship night on June 15th at 6:30pm at 711 W University Dr in Tempe, AZ. Weâd love to see you there. â¨

How often the Lord works exactly that way, surprising us with burdens that turn out to be blessings. Oh, but we must learn to look with Godâs eyes, His eternal vision, His vision that sees everything in its completion, its fullness. Jesus says our reward will be great in Heaven (Matthew 5:12), but that doesnât mean He wonât give us a taste of heavenly joy right now. Maggie Rose is proof of that.
The paradoxical tension we feel in the beatitudes is not meant to frustrate us, but to orient us, to keep our eyes fixed on Heaven and eternity. When our burdens donât feel like blessings, letâs ask the Lord to give us heavenly vision, to see as He sees, and to love as He loves.

Christ is Godâs answer to our human hunger, because his Body is the bread of eternal life: Take this and eat of it, all of you!
By offering himself completely, the crucified and risen Lord delivers himself into our hands, and we realize that we were made to partake of God. Our hungry nature bears the mark of a need that is satisfied by the grace of the Eucharist.
The Eucharist, in fact, is the true, real, and substantial presence of the Saviour (cf. Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1413), who transforms bread into himself in order to transform us into himself. Living and life-giving, the Corpus Domini makes us, the Church herself, the Body of the Lord.
// Pope Leo XIV

Sister, you, too, are given the baptismal grace to proclaim the Gospel. In an age when souls are hungry for what is spiritual, but often unable to untangle truth from âmyths,â we all can be the witnesses proclaiming Jesus. We can bring light and hope to a world unaware of its own darkness.
It might not be on a stage. Your call will honor your unique gifts and opportunities. You may bring the Gospel to the woman in line behind you at the coffee shop or simply by writing a note to a coworker. But a word of hope, when infused with the Spirit, can bring forth untold light and life. Donât let the enemy tell you otherwise.

"When we read Scripture, we are hearing God talk to us... We read Scripture so that we âmay be competent, equipped for every good workâ (2 Timothy 3:17).
The challenge is to remember to consume Scripture. We are blessed to have our daily readings, and we should offer ourselves the fruit of Scripture by feasting upon it every day. We need to make the effort to prioritize spending time with Godâs Word, listening to His voice speaking to us.
Godâs Word refreshes us and reminds us of who we are and Who God is. Reading Scripture is the perfect antidote to all of lifeâs challenges, the reality check we need as we go about each day. It is a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path.

June is devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus â¤ď¸
This month, we want to make space to slow down, to pray, and to receive His love, because contact with His Heart softens the hard places in ours.
If youâd like a simple way to enter into that prayer, weâre reading and praying with In His Heart digital e-book together throughout the month. Weâd love to have you join us. â¨

I am not locked in prison like Saint Paul. But I can suffer my own share of hardship for the Gospel each day.
Every time we hold our tongues through self-control, every time we understand the power of our actions, and every time we choose to respond in love, we live by the Holy Spirit.
In these little sufferingsâin these little deaths to selfâwe become more like âour savior Christ Jesus, who destroyed death and brought lifeâ (2 Timothy 1:10).
