Peace 🌱

Slipped out to TTL for some Helios 44 (50 yr old lens) B-Roll action. Shot like 20 min with around 1-2 hrs of editing sound design into these snippets of time πŸŽ₯ was a perfect day 🀘🏼

2 cities, 10 miles apart, pulled together with 4+ pounds of glass and a camera sensor to capture it all πŸŒ† threw a little rustic feel into the colors on this one

I left it all in πŸ™οΈπŸ“Έ was fun shooting this shot, not so fun climbing all those stairs lol

Cities seam to always be hustling and bustling around as they never stop. So many moving parts, so many moving people. Uniquely just stepping back and looking twice at the typical ordinary can show something different not typically seen before.

I love cities and the energy they create/attract, what about you?

I snapped these shots during my first adventure in Phoenix.

Turns out, the city is way bigger than I expected. I had only driven through before, but exploring it on foot made it feel like it multiplied in size.

I'm gonna spend a ton more time here, mapping out the whole area and taking a lot more photos super excited! πŸ“ΈπŸŽ₯πŸ“Ή

Headphones on with a camera in hand fuels my creativity and expression.

I find it natural and easy going, being in such a lively environment, to capture ordinary things all around me in just a slightly different than typical view. Art is never right or wrong and that’s what makes me love it. It’s just me.

Also, fun fact, I took these photos right before and after I made the reel taking those pictures of that amazing sweet couple. If you haven’t seen it yet perhaps check it out as it a cool experience!

Super stoked to explore this big, yet oddly small feeling world. There's an endless amount of things to do, yet, sometimes nothing feels new.
What a strange place to observe and be a part of, but, I guess the mix is what makes it more intriguing and exiting.

During the evening, I find myself drawn to the horizon to watch the sun slip away. Sometimes I find myself wondering what life would be like without it.

There was a time in my life when, for several years, that I barely saw a sunset. Now, it's clear that it was just the universe setting things up for me to truly enjoy it.

Each sunset is a gentle reminder of the gift of life and another gentle tick in time for me to soak in. I'm not sure if thankful is the right word, maybe it's more of an awareness that prompts me to smile just a little more.

My adorable little niece and her horse, Taco Bell🐴 Kids remind us to be ourselves, no matter what others think.

You know, as an adult, I wouldn't actually name my horse Taco Bell because of what people might say. But, my niece couldn't care less! She's just a kid, being her awesome little self. It's funny how as a kid, I couldn't wait to grow up, but now, I'd love to be a kid again.

I'm trying my best to channel that kid energy, being true to myself and not concerning myself what people think (this is tough) and society thinks I should do.

It’s always funny to watch people’s reactions when a camera is pointed at them. Some people look away, tense up, hide, feel nervous or just altogether avoid the camera.

But then there’s one of my favorite reactions which is what these two are doing, laughing and smiling during the shot

This is one of my favorite photos that I took back in 2020 of my brother guiding our granddad to his seat.

It's crazy how fast time goes by. I remember my GrandDad towering over 6 foot 3, but due to age, he has lost some height. πŸ•°οΈβ³ Cherishing every precious memory. "

Some experiences are simply too extraordinary to express in words, so I rely on my camera to translate for me πŸ“Έβ›°οΈ
