Some people don’t want healing…they want comfort while staying the same.

Everybody wants a villain.

Here’s the uncomfortable reality:

Fentanyl is killing people overnight.Tobacco is still one of the largest preventable causes of death on earth.Alcohol wrecks families, bodies, and lives every single day.Sugar is quietly fueling obesity, diabetes, and heart disease at a massive scale.

Yet somehow… the loudest arguments are still about cannabis.

I’m not saying cannabis is harmless. Nothing you put in your body is neutral.But perspective matters.

If we’re serious about public health and recovery, we should start with the substances causing the most death, addiction, and medical destruction first — not the one at the bottom of the list.

So here’s my position:

When we as a society get honest about to***co, sugar, and alcohol — and actually address them with the same intensity — then we can have a real conversation about cannabis.

Until then, maybe leave the guy quietly smoking a joint after work alone and focus on what’s actually filling hospitals and cemeteries.

Accountability matters.Priorities matter more.
