Over the years working with all types of clients in my photography business as well as my social media management business I’ve noticed a huge need for content days. Content days are the best way for you as a business owner to bank content for your marketing needs! It could be as little as an hour and you have content for a month! Stock photos are nice and all but they are lacking authenticity and emotion. There’s nothing better than being able to market yourself with images that are actually yours.

It’s a new year which means it’s time for an introduction post. This year I wanted to do things a little differently. So it’s not just photos of me with a camera being like hello I’m a photographer because duh, if you follow me you know that. 😂

This year I wanted to show me with my family, because family is so important to who I am and what I’m all about. I have a very large family, with so many layers.
- Did you know I have 4 siblings ranging in age from 33 to 10?
- What about that I’m originally from Montana, and my mom and older sister and her family live there?
- Or last fun fact, when we were little my aunt used sneak us out of the house at midnight and take my cousin, sister and I to Denny’s at midnight for fun while our parents we sleeping.

There’s so many little memories and tidbits about us that make us who we are. Sometimes we get so caught up in selling ourselves to potential clients that we stop seeing ourselves as humans that belong to our own lives and families.

Happy Monday!☀️

It’s a new year filled with new possibilities and opportunities. Last year was a lot for me… I almost thought about hanging the camera up for good. I had lost my spark, but a very wise friend .b.deluna told me to just take a break! It was time for rest and reflection, to fall back in love with photography and creating art. When my break was up, I couldn’t wait to go back and start taking photos. In my almost 10 years in photography I had never taken time off. Which is wild when you think about it. Sure I would take time off from my 9-5 but then I would be shooting all the time during that break. So no real break from photos.

This year, 2026 I want to spend more time taking photos and capturing art in a new way. I want to start filling my cup with creative concepts, editorial sessions, and things just outside the box. So if you are a seasoned model or have never stepped foot in front of the camera I would love to create with you. 🩵

It’s officially Christmas season! Which means all the lights, songs, baking, movies, and cozy holiday traditions. 🎄✨

My favorite? Definitely the baking. I’ve always loved making cookies and festive treats, especially the cinnamon roll cookies I’ve baked every year for the past three seasons. If you know, you know. 🍪

When I host Holiday minis I always make sure to include my own family because they are great models and they make it fun to take photos. They’re goofy and that makes for the most genuine photos (swipe all the way to the end for a true sibling photo 😂)

I’m back! 😁And I’m sure you weren’t expecting to see a landscape photo as my first one back. But I just had to share me experiencing actual fall for the first time in years 😂

New York City was something else, a very different pace of life. It was chaotic and overwhelming at first but there’s something about it that’s magical. I came back feeling refreshed and like I finally feel my spark coming back. It’s been an interesting few months where I almost wanted to hang the camera up for good 😣 but I think I’m ready to get back into my creative self.

I think the lesson here is to take a step back when life gets too crazy, and you might just find yourself again. 💕

I asked in my stories what fall Halloween content I should post next and 36% wanted the pumpkin head session! 🎃

A little backstory on this session, it was actually 2 sessions in one. I had the idea for a women in suits in unlikely places, such as a spooky forest but it was around Halloween so once we were done with those shots we pivoted to some pumpkin head photos. Which turned out to be some of my favorites!

I am forever grateful for my stepmom and my sister for being down for all of my weird wacky ideas. They make for great photos and even better memories.
