My husband's family are big music fans so when we visited them for the holidays, I brought My Soundtrack. It was a big hit!

On a player's turn, they draw two theme cards and pick one to play. The first player to the left plays a song title from their hand that they think best matches the theme played. The next player then plays a song card from their hand. The active player decides which of those two songs they like better. An immediate showdown!

Play continues around the table, as the active player continually choosing one of two songs in contention. The player whose song makes it all the way around the table gains the point, represented by guitar pick of course! The active player then places the theme and winning song in front of them, creating a soundtrack of their life.

We had a great time playing My Soundtrack! It's a fun casual party game for people who love music, with songs ranging from classic rock to new pop songs! You can buy a copy at mysoundtrackgame.com.

LIVE ON KICKSTARTER: Remember when we rode bikes through the neighborhood and waited by the radio so you'd hear your favorite song? Step back into the 1980s with Garage Rock, where your teen band is fighting for fame in the Battle of the Bands showcase, hosted by the coolest DJ Johnny Law of Pirate Radio who broadcasts from high above his treehouse.

Garage Rock from Mariposa Games is a midweight worker placement game where players write and practice songs, buy new instruments, get rad clothing, create fliers and merch to sell, take music lessons and record cassette demos. As your skills improve, shown on a most excellent fader system on your player board, you can play gigs and pass your demo to Johnny Law to play on air if he’s nearby!

The game comes with awesome components such as acrylic instruments, song and ribbon tokens, demo tapes, a VIP lanyard for the first player, and a treehouse radio station that functions as a dice tower. As your popularity soars, so will your chances at winning the Battle of the Bands showcase. Will your garage band have what it takes to be the best band in the neighborhood?

The beauty of Arizona — captured in a board game! 🌵 Got a chance to play Trailblazer: The Arizona Trail from Mariposa Games recently, where hikers travel down the 800-mile trail to see the sights of the desert flora and fauna, and they get to create a personal mural, too! The production quality is top-notch, and nature lovers and board gamers alike can enjoy this game.
