Perched on a ridgeline above Clearwater Hills, the Red Ledge residence by architect Andy Byrnes and The Construction Zone is a modern desert estate designed to capture sweeping 360-degree views. Organized as a series of linear volumes along the ridge, the home centers around a dramatic two-story living space, with private retreats extending outward to connect with nature. Stone, metal, and expansive glazing create a seamless dialogue between the architecture and the surrounding desert landscape.

Built by Calvis Wyant Luxury Homes and designed by Jamie Hedstrom, this residence was created around a remarkable collection of Western and Native American art. Spanish antiques, clean-lined modern furnishings, and layered color, texture, and pattern provide the perfect backdrop for the curated collection. The result is a personalized home that honors the spirit of the historic Southwest while embracing modern living.

Architect David Dick designed this Clearwater Hills home to be thoughtfully right-sized for his clients’ lifestyle. Set on a compact, sloped site, the residence embraces simplicity, functionality, and quiet elegance. Filled with natural light, vibrant accents, walls of glass, and seamless indoor-outdoor connections, the home unites architecture, interiors, and landscape into one inviting living experience.

At Carry On Airlines, designer Peter Maxwell Bowden transforms nostalgia into an experience—vintage tickets, retro flight boards, aviation-inspired interiors, and thoughtful details evoke the glamour of classic air travel.

The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Phoenix, a historic Spanish Baroque Revival landmark originally opened in 1929 as a vaudeville house, continues to serve as one of the city’s premier venues for live performances, concerts, films, and ballet. Photographer Mark Lipczynsky was commissioned by the City of Phoenix to capture the theater’s recent sound and staging upgrades. Through dynamic angles and thoughtful compositions, his photography draws viewers into the theater’s ornate Spanish detailing, celebrating the richness, color, and warmth that make the historic venue feel timeless within a modern performance setting.

Dulcet Tile was founded in 2019 to shake up the industry. With a focus on marble, the firm has created a curated line of patterned mosaic tiles that are visually stunning, focused on the natural beauty and quality of the marble they have engineered and crafted into dozens of patterns using multiple materials and techniques. Dulcet Tile’s ability to provide large-format marble tile, mixed with matching mosaics, trims and borders, makes them a valuable resource on large-scale residential and commercial projects. Villagio Tile and Stone welcomes them as a new Arizona resource, with an extensive display of Dulcet Tile.

The Construction Zone office, originally built in 2007, serves as the firm’s Phoenix headquarters and reflects a clean, modern, industrial aesthetic. The space is defined by a restrained material palette that includes concrete, steel, glass and warm woods, creating a balance between refined design and a relaxed studio environment. Open work areas and thoughtfully framed moments throughout the office encourage collaboration, yet maintain a sense of clarity and order, embodying the firm’s approach to simple, intentional and well-crafted design.

Wiseman and Gale’s designers are known for their ability to mix styles and materials, creating relevant and design-forward interiors. The Colorado retreat designed by Jamie Hedstrom demonstrates her ability to create soulful interiors in modern homes. The mountainside home, with expansive windows, clean architectural lines and cool stone details, is filled with warm and meaningful design touches. Wood and stone tables dominate the spaces, which are contrasted by soft upholstery in a modern scale. A collection of rugs, pottery and regional blankets brings pattern and color to the interiors. The warmth and personality of the client are infused into the design details.

Custom homes are shaped by the people who imagine them. For this project, architect David Dick collaborated closely with his client — a meticulous neurosurgeon with a clear vision — to bring a dream home to life. Designed to capture sweeping views of Camelback Mountain, the residence balances clean modern architecture with refined Italian influences. Natural light fills the dramatic interiors, where luxurious materials, bold color, and an impressive art collection create spaces made for both everyday living and entertaining. Thoughtfully connected to the surrounding desert landscape, the home embraces indoor-outdoor living while celebrating its striking mountain setting.

Carry On Airlines blends technology seamlessly into every design detail. The standout feature: 10 passenger windows fitted with custom digital screens, designed and programmed in-house to create a fully immersive journey. From takeoff to cruising to landing, the visuals are crafted to feel interactive and transportive. Advanced sound design transforms the acoustically complex interior through precise directional audio and subtle vibrations that elevate each moment. Every thoughtful detail comes together to make the Carry On Airlines experience feel authentic, captivating, and unforgettable.
