Coyotes Curling Club
If you've never heard of curling...like so many people....it's a winter Olympic sport on ice. It's a
Best Arizona tourism video. Ever.

Eyes on the Big Stage. 🥌♿
Meet Team Tim Surry, an adaptive/wheelchair curling team proudly representing the Coyotes Curling Club and the State of Arizona. These athletes are putting in the work, sharpening their skills, and chasing a goal that once seemed impossible: qualifying for the USA Curling National Championship and earning the opportunity to compete for a place on Team USA.
This journey is about more than curling. It’s about determination, resilience, teamwork, and proving that dreams don’t have limits.
Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing their stories, introducing the athletes, highlighting their training, and bringing you along for every step of the journey.
If you believe in chasing big goals, follow along and help us cheer them on. A like, comment, share, or word of encouragement goes a long way. Let’s rally behind these athletes and help make their dreams a reality.
Arizona is watching. The curling community is watching. Now let’s show them what Team Tim Surry can do.

“We thought we were signing up to try curling.”
What we didn’t expect was finding a community.
From the first rock to lifelong friendships, the Coyotes Curling Club has shown that everyone belongs on the ice. The support, encouragement, and acceptance from our members make this place special.
Proud to celebrate these stories, these friendships, and the people who make our club feel like home. 🏳️🌈🥌
No vampires. No zombies. No serial killers. Just experiences that have shortened my lifespan.
Every curler has that one thing that instantly raises their blood pressure.
If you’ve curled long enough, you’ve starred in all five.
The Coyote Cup is one of those rare events where every skill level belongs, every team has a chance, and everyone leaves with a story worth telling.
If you’ve ever thought about joining, volunteering, or getting involved… make a promise to yourself right now:
👉 Be at the next Coyote Cup.
Trust us. You’ll wish you had done it sooner.
Who doesn’t love a great origin story? Before the trophies, the takeouts, and the occasional sweeping debate, there was a first rock, a first miss, and probably a first ‘Wait…this is actually fun.’ Let’s hear how these curlers found their way to the ice. 🥌🎤
One of the best parts of being in a curling club isn’t the perfect draw, the big takeout, or even winning the event.
It’s the bonspiels.
It’s the laughter between ends. The stories shared over a beverage afterward. The rookie who finally makes that first great shot. The veteran who flashes one and gets reminded they’re human too. It’s cheering for your teammates, meeting new friends, and realizing that no matter how the scoreboard looks, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Because club bonspiels aren’t really about the trophies.
They’re about showing up, being part of something bigger, and making memories with people who love the game as much as you do.
And honestly? That’s a pretty great reward. 🥌❤️

Spots will not last.
Coyote Cup isn’t really about winning. (Okay… maybe a little. 😏)
It’s about bringing together brand-new curlers, seasoned veterans, skips, leads, and everyone in between for a day of great shots, questionable strategy, friendly trash talk, and plenty of laughs.
Where else can someone who threw their first rock a few months ago share a team with curlers who’ve been at it for decades? New friendships are made, stories are shared, and by the end of the day, you’re cheering for people who were complete strangers just hours earlier.
That’s the magic of the Coyote Cup. It’s not just a bonspiel. It’s a reminder that curling isn’t really about the rocks, brooms, or scoreboards—it’s about the community that forms around them.
Here’s to new teammates, old friends, unforgettable moments, and another chapter in what makes our curling club so special. 🥌❤️
Covering the pin on a draw should probably come with a warning label.
Side effects may include excessive swagger, unsolicited strategy advice, and an inability to stop smiling. 😎
