TECH TIP THURSDAY…

We cannot stress enough how important it is to your health to replace your cabin filter. Here is an extreme case that we see more often than not. Allergies? Yeah this won’t help. Imagine all the other things floating around not to mention the amount of air volume it cuts down. Please if you’re having an oil change or maintenance inspection have it checked at a minimum and replaced when needed. We included a bottle of hand sanitizer in the picture in case it makes you feel a a dirty as we do looking at it or touching it 🤣🤣

TECH TIP WEDNESDAY…

One of the most costly mistakes you can make is putting DEF fluid in your fuel tank of your diesel! At best it can cost a few thousand to remove and clean tank and pay the disposal fees. At worst, if you start and run the vehicle after it can Literally turn into 15-20k engine and fuel system replacement. ALWAYS pay attention when adding DEF or even fuel making sure you don’t add gasoline by mistake. Either way, if you do,under no circumstance should you run your vehicle. Rather have it towed immediately to a reputable shop or dealer
For repair. You know, one like Interstate Auto Repair! This is a picture of the first and second fuel filter out of a recent DEF mishap. DEF is extremely corrosive outside of its intended use. Be careful and keep up your regularly scheduled maintenance

Imagine going back to 1967 and seeing the legendary Camaro and Chevy II brand new on the lot for sale with sticker prices in the $2900 range!!! Hindsight, if we all knew we could all be retired snatching these up over the decades.
