I'm watching the "Surviving RKelley 2023" and I have to say that I am proud of each of the brave women that came forth to testify. It's time society understands Black women/girls are r***d and victimized. This isn't about "tearing down another Black man!!" This is finally acknowledging trauma Black women/girls experience. These women should never be blamed or shamed for their trauma and for what has happened to them. Throughout history the rapes of Black women have been minimized, overlooked, denied, and women have somehow been blamed or flat out accused of lying. The was created by a Black woman that was told she could possibly have been sexually harassed because of her looks. I salute you strong women, I salute your resilience, I salute your struggles. I believe you, not because I too am a survivor, but because you deserve to be believed.

You are not responsible for your trauma, but you are responsible for your healing.
