For those curious about who we are and what we do...

Cymax Systems, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Roger Wynar to bring innovation to drywall building products. Before Cymax, Roger hung drywall for years while working on home and commercial construction in western New York. He saw the difficulties that drywall installers face, and came up with some creative solutions.

His first invention, the Stud Hugger, was conceived while he was in the field, in response to his own needs as a drywaller. He received a patent for his design.

With dedication and hard work, he made the company what it is today, and our clips have been installed in homes across the United States and Canada.

We are proud to be able to say that all of our clips are manufactured in the United States. In addition, all parts assembly is also done in the United States, at a facility that creates opportunities for people with disabilities.

Today, Roger’s son, Lou, is carrying on the operations of Cymax Systems.
