PALS finished their first week of preschool pumpkin play with a fun-filled visit to Peltzer Pumpkin Farm . As they navigated the pumpkin patches, they uncovered valuable lessons about the wonderful world of pumpkins, explored the various types and their uses, and enhanced their social skills through playful interactions with the farm animals. Our field trips offer a unique chance for children to broaden their knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a deeper connection with the world around them.

It's apple week 🍎! Our PALS discovered the wonders of apples through sensory experiences. They made pretend pies with apple cinnamon play dough, crafted apple art using half-apples as paint stamps, and even got to core and mix real apples for a delicious pie. Hands on learning not only makes learning fun but also fosters curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and overall brain development. PALS Hooray!

PALS had a colorful week 🎨 We spent our time exploring primary and secondary colors, mixing and matching to create all different hues. It's incredible to see how much fun the kids had while learning, and the messy play was the best part! The benefits of messy play are numerous including enhanced sensory exploration, fine motor control and problem-solving skills. It’s a wonderful way to learn!
