Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. A huge congratulations to two team members who continue to make a difference at 1909 every single day 👏.
Our FOH Employee of the Month, Eligio, consistently goes above and beyond to support his team 💪💪💪 and make sure every shift is set up for success. Whether he’s jumping in to help wherever needed or helping maintain a cleaner and smoother restaurant environment, his work ethic and positive attitude do not go unnoticed 🙌.
Representing the BOH team, Irma has been absolutely crushing it in the kitchen with her focus, consistency, and dedication 🙏. She always keeps her station prepared and ready to go, helping keep everything running efficiently behind the scenes 👏👏👏 .

Our POW/MIA table is a tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, and to those who never made it home.
As we gather with the people we love ❤️ today, may we all remember and honor those who made it possible.
At 1909, one table means so much more than just a seat ❤️🤍💙. This memorial Day weekend our POW/MIA table will stand as a quiet reminder of the brave service members who were prisoners of war, missing in action, and never made it back home.
Every detail at the table carries meaning:
• The Bible represents strength, faith, and comfort
• The black napkin is a reminder of the emptiness for those we mourn
• The Purple Heart represents the strength of those we lost
• The red rose stands for the love that lives on for them
• The yellow ribbon on the candle represents continued hope
• The slice of lemon reminds us of the bitter fate of those captured or missing
• The salt symbolizes the tears of families left behind
• The inverted glass reminds us that they cannot be here today
