EPX completed a project for Standard Meats, delivering a reliable backup power solution for a cold storage and meat processing facility where operational continuity is critical.

The system consists of three 625 kW Taylor units, providing a combined 1.8 megawatts of backup power to support the facility's energy demands and protect temperature-sensitive inventory.

This installation required the construction of a custom underground concrete electrical vault designed to intercept and integrate with the facility's secondary electrical feeders. The project also involved a highly time-sensitive power transfer, with crews working over 20 consecutive hours to restore power while ensuring no disruption to stored products.

A clear example of how precise ex*****on and operational discipline can safeguard critical infrastructure in high-stakes environments.

EPX completed a project in New Mexico, between Carlsbad and Hobbs in the Permian Basin.

We delivered a self-contained microgrid capable of producing 10 megawatts of power, generated directly from well gas sourced on site. The system was powered by twenty-four 350 kW Moser generators serving as the primary energy source.

The build required 10,460 feet of generator cable, 2,700 feet of medium-voltage cable, 650 feet of aluminum cable tray, and the coordinated effort of a six-person crew.

A strong example of what's possible when engineering, ex*****on, and field expertise come together.

EPX completed a project for the Bell County Water Treatment Plant, delivering a resilient and grid-supportive power solution designed for both reliability and flexibility.

The system consists of sixteen 625 kW Generac generators housed across two 100-foot structures, coupled together to provide a total of 10 megawatts of power. This configuration not only ensures full backup capability for the facility, but also enables participation in demand response—allowing the system to supply power back to the grid when additional support is needed.

Ex*****on required overcoming several site-specific challenges. Rocky terrain complicated trenching and underground work, while the project demanded a monolithic concrete pad poured as a single continuous structure. Additionally, conductors were pulled entirely by hand due to the absence of anchor points within the cable tray system, requiring careful coordination and field precision.

The project has been successfully completed, with a satisfied client and a strong reference for EPX moving forward. A clear example of how thoughtful engineering and disciplined ex*****on can deliver both operational resilience and grid value.

EPX completed a project for Labatt Foods, delivering a high-capacity on-site power solution engineered for reliability and seamless integration within an existing facility.

The system features a 1 megawatt, 32,000 lb single generator installation, supported by over 3,700 feet of piping and more than 13,500 feet of electrical wiring. The scale and layout of the system required precise coordination across both mechanical and electrical scopes.

Due to the location of the mechanical room, installation required routing along the roof and penetrating through two building levels to properly integrate the system. Gas infrastructure presented additional complexity, with over 300 feet of trenching completed entirely by hand to safely navigate and avoid existing buried utilities.

A strong example of how thoughtful planning and field ex*****on can overcome complex site constraints while delivering dependable power solutions.
