Deb’s Sunday Blog (6-14-26)
Greetings from YFL!!! It is ‘Meet me @ The Wall’ week!!! We will use the wall as a prop of resistance, focus, and alignment. Our Sanskrit focus is ‘Sukha’, to promote ease, balance, and steadiness. Our weekly mudra ( hand gesture) is the ‘Prithvi’, which also promotes the energy of ease, balance, power, and steadiness.
This week’s Yin (Sukha) practice will foster ‘Good Digestion’!!! A very slow-paced, meditative practice with lots of propping!!!
* Join Deb each Sunday for a new, and FREE guided meditation on her YouTube channel. This week’s Sankalpa is Sukha:To be at Ease, with a few rounds of ‘Alternate Nostril Breathing’.
* YFL will be CLOSED 7/3-7/5 in observance of the 4th of July!!! Happy 250th USA!!!
* 7/13-‘Mindfulness Monday’ from 9:15-9:30 a.m. w/Deb!!!

Deb’s Sunday Blog (6-7-26)
Greetings from YFL!!! It is ‘Triple R Week’!!! It is time to restore, renew, and relax with lots of pose assisted propping!!! Our Sanskrit focus is ‘Visrama’, or to take rest, to take peace, to take tranquility. Our weekly mudra (hand gesture) focus is ‘Shakti’, which promotes the state of being, and doing rest.
This week’s Yin practice will emphasize ‘Fascia Release’. Fascia is the connective tissue that envelopes, and unifies our internal organs, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nervous system. This practice will lubricate, and gently stretch the fascia.
* 6/8-Mindfulness Monday:A guided meditation with Deb from 9:15-9:30 a.m.!!!
* Join Deb each Sunday for a new, guided meditation on her YouTube channel. It is FREE!!! This week’s Sankalpa is ‘Just Rest’. Deb will offer som techniques for stimulating the vagus nerve, and activating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Deb’s Sunday Blog (5-31-26)
‘Timeless teachings of the mind, body, and heart’—-YFL
Greetings from YFL!!! Happy June!!! It is ‘Weight Time’ this week!!! We will sculpt, tone, and strengthen with the addition of hand weights in our practice!!! Our Sanskrit focus is ‘Sahaja’, or ‘Effortless Effort’ of being or acting. Our mudra (hand gesture) is Bhairava, which evokes an effortless state of being, and inner peace.
This week’s Yin practice is all about ‘Stress Release’, as the supporting breath, and props allow us to surrender…to let go!!!
