Likes: Tennis, Disc Golf, Starbucks, and Discussing Literature.

Dislikes: Pickleball (sorry fans) and political extremism.

Hot Take: The Good Samaritan didn’t ask for a political party before helping the hurt man. In Matthew 25, Jesus encourages helping the weak and helpless no matter what they believe.

Why You Serve: In high school, I began teaching VBS and Sunday School, and eventually became a youth director. I believe God has called me to teach His Word, to kids, and I am so blessed to continue doing so even as I am 58!

Meet Adriana! | PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM

Likes: Spending time with my family, the beach, watching my boys do rap and dance battles, and helping out where I’m needed.

Dislikes: Putting Laundry away, onions, and being late.

Hot Take: Love one another, have patience and grace.

Why You Serve: The Lord woke me up! When he saved me it was one moment to the next, He has moved so fast in my life and put me in places I never imagined I would be in as a naturally shy person who likes to hide. The Lord told me “ENOUGH is ENOUGH I saved you now go save my children!” I am being obedient to the Lord. I love working with all the littles they make my day and watching them grow their relationship and build a firm foundation with the Lord is such a blessing!

Meet Alysa!! EXPLORERS - Special Needs Classroom

Likes: Outdoors, the gym, serving, music, living a healthy life, trying new things, laughing and growing.

Dislikes: When anyone feels unseen or left out. Every person deserves a place where they belong.

Hot Take: Chapstick is life! 10000000%!

Why You Serve: As a mom of a child with special needs, I didn’t have a ministry like this when my son was young—and I know how much it would have meant. Being able to now give that gift to other families is truly life-giving. These kids bring so much joy to my heart.

WALKERS CLASSROOM (1-2 years)

Likes: Hockey, spicy food, matcha, spending time with my kids, thrifting, a good workout.

Dislikes: The news, boba, AI, artificial dyes/sweeteners, sour candy, traffic.

Hot Take: Safety is a love language that deserves its own book.

Why You Serve: To give back to the church that poured into the lives of my older children during their youth years.

EXPLORERS (Special Needs Classroom)

Likes: Family movie nights, walks with Hubby, children’s books, beach, dark chocolate

Dislikes: Hot weather, mosquitoes, spending a lot of time on a recipe that goes terribly wrong, pens that skip or have faint ink

Hot Take: White chocolate is lovely in its own way, but it really isn’t chocolate.

Why You Serve: I believe God loves each child so very much, so it’s a joy to care for and share His love with these loved ones.
