I see so many business owners get caught up in moving onto the next job or client, and not taking time to be proud of what they’ve accomplished.
I’ve experienced all levels of pride in what we’ve built at Current Power Electric, from a super solid team, to customers that become like extended family, to a foundation of strong core values that cannot be beat.
But the pride hits different when you drive by a major hospital that you installed the electrical for, knowing that the electrical you put in is contributing to lives being saved and babies born.
Or like this commercial customer - who is a major supplier for materials to the Department of Defense, knowing that we are helping them help our government with safety protocols.
It’s really cool to think about, and incredibly rewarding.
All that to say, be proud of what you’ve done and what you’re doing!
So I wanna hear what you’re proud of in your work and business - go off in the comments! 🗣️👇🏽

New Edison trench conduit for three new custom homes#temeculaelectrician #electrician #custom home
When we have a big project like a panel upgrade on the calendar, my main focus is making sure the transition is as smooth as possible for the homeowner.
Take a "cut-over" day, for example - there’s a lot of coordination involved. We have Edison come out to safely disconnect the utility power so we can get to work. We strip out the old equipment and get the new panel, circuits, and breakers installed and ready to go.
Once the city inspector gives us the green light, Edison fires us back up, and just like that, you’re powered up with a modern, reliable system.
Pro-Tip: If you're planning a major electrical upgrade, try to schedule it during a time when you can be away from the house for a few hours. Since the power has to be completely cut for the safety of the crew and your home, having a "plan B" for your fridge or home office will make the day much less stressful!
Have you ever been through a major home renovation? What was the one thing that made the process easier for you? Let me know in the comments! 👇
Stay worry-free! Have an electrical job in your home or business that will require Edison to approve it? We’ve got you!

I’ve realized that for most homeowners, the scariest part of a big project isn’t the construction, it’s the mountain of paperwork that comes with it.
I’ve seen so many people freeze up when they hear “HOA approval” or “city permits,” so I decided a long time ago that we would handle the heavy lifting for them.
We take care of the detailed drawings you need to get that HOA green light, and then we handle the submission to the city or county ourselves. From drawing the plans and pulling the permits to sitting through every single inspection, my goal is to make the process invisible to you.
It usually takes about a month from our first meeting to get those stamps of approval, but once we have them, we’re good to go. I want you to focus on the excitement of the upgrade, while we focus on the red tape.
Pro-Tip: If you’re planning a project that requires HOA approval, always ask your contractor for a formal “Scope of Work” and a site plan early on. Attaching these professional documents to your application can often speed up the approval process by weeks because it leaves the board with zero unanswered questions!
Have you ever had a project stalled by permit or HOA headaches? Tell me your “paperwork nightmare” story in the comments! 👇
