Doing some random stuff while I try to get used to my new woodburner. I ended up getting a Colwood Detailer.

Love the smell of burning alder!

Completed and graded semester project. Really happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to load my handplanes into it! The cabinet was made from one walnut board with mitered corners, bridle joinery on the doors, the drawers are half blind dovetails in the front and through dovetails in the rear. Hand cut beads on the lower cabinet shelf as well. The finish is boiled linseed oil with two topcoats of shellac.

Dovetailing this African Mahogany and this fret saw is an amazing tool. The last couple projects I have found an excuse to use this saw! @ Temecula, California

This cutting board received its first coat of mineral oil and the grain is quite lovely. The walnut and cherry is just a classic combination of contrasting woods, wouldn’t you agree?

Starting the breadboard ends on this beautiful figured walnut and figured cherry cutting board. The plan is to add drawbored through tenons @ Temecula, California

Dog bowl stands finally buttoned up 👍.

Mortising some turn buttons to secure the tops of the dog bowl stands to the bottom. How do you folks attach your tabletops out there to accommodate the wood movement?
