Got together with friends for a barbecue after entirely too long. A thoroughly overdue brisket, pork spareribs, chicken, beets, spaghetti squash, mixed greens, shrimp, bacon wrapped asparagus, and house made pickles. Whew! To top it off my good friend made me an awesome sign! Thanks so much!

Banged out a few racks of spares today, finished super quickly on oak, worked a little bourbon and cola sauce into the bark, and call it a box!

Back at it after a bit too long of a hiatus! On the plus side that almond wood was well seasoned and burned like a dream. Pork belly for the birthday boy, ribs, chicken halves, and hot links to go with it.
