Some of our favorite July sips! What are you drinking?
1️⃣ Poderi Gianni Gagliardo Favorita (aka Vermentino) from the Langhe. Gorgeous and mineral-driven and almost spritzy. Amazing aperitif w**e!
2️⃣ Did you know Vinho Verde has red w**e? This one is super crunchy and chillable. Red w**e for white w**e lovers! Adega de Monção
3️⃣ Game-changing classic method bubbly from Oregon’s Willamette Valley 🤌🤌 REX HILL
4️⃣ Always a classic, Duckhorn Vineyards Merlot is still as wonderful as ever.
5️⃣ Consider this your sign to try Sylvaner from Alto Adige. This one from Kellerei Eisacktal will NOT disappoint.
6️⃣ We always love a Gavi! Found this one on a patio in Buffalo!
7️⃣ can do no wrong so get your hands on literally anything they make. This Vinho Verde will do.
8️⃣ Drank this juicy little number in Cabo - always try to sip what’s local whenever possible. This w**e was low ABV and quaffable - which helped because we finished the bottle in one quick sitting.
9️⃣ This stunner from Baldacci Family Vineyards | Napa Valley W**e Tasting is one of those bottles you either want to keep just for yourself, or share with someone who matters. Either way, it’s a win.

Same region, different seasons. Do you recognize it?
Absolutely mesmerizing! Baias W**e demonstrates traditional Georgian kvevri w**emaking, where egg-shaped clay vessels are buried underground to naturally ferment and age w**e for months using 8,000-year-old techniques recognized by UNESCO.

⁉️ Did you know there’s more than one dramatic way to open a bottle of w**e? Sabering may get most of the attention, but Vintage Port has its own fiery tradition. 🔥🍷
Because the corks in decades-old bottles can become fragile and crumble, Port tongs are heated over a flame and clamped around the bottle’s neck. An ice-cold cloth is then applied to the hot glass, creating a sudden temperature change that makes the neck snap cleanly away—cork and all. The Port is carefully filtered and decanted to separate it from the sediment that develops during its long years in bottle.
Part practicality, part theater, and one seriously memorable way to open a piece of history. Would you trust yourself with the tongs? 👀

Some of our favorite June sips. See any you like?
1️⃣ Casa Vinicola Garofoli_W**ery Aelya - a razor sharp (in an amazing way) Verdicchio di Matelica that will become your new favorite Italian white. Trust us.
2️⃣ A sensational Grüner Veltliner from the always amazing Dr. Konstantin Frank W**ery - did you know they made a Grüner??
3️⃣ We love and we love that this tasty w**e supports Oceana and their work protecting and restoring marine ecosystems.
4️⃣ There are few California Chardonnays that hit quite like this one from The Hilt Estate in the Sta. Rita Hills.
5️⃣ Wente Family Vineyards recently revived this historic California label, whose 1884 white w**e won the Grand Prix at the 1889 Paris Exposition - 87 years before the Judgement of Paris.
6️⃣ San Leonardo can do no wrong as far as we are concerned, and this Trentodoc sparkler is no exception.
7️⃣ We love a northern Italian Sauvignon Blanc and this one from Attems in Friuli is delicious.
8️⃣ Three Brothers W**eries in the Finger Lakes makes so REALLY good Riesling - like this clone-specific bottling that’s dry and racy.
9️⃣ This Limoux Chardonnay was created with JJ Julius Son, frontman of Icelandic rock band KALEO, and it’s SO good.
🔟 Beautiful and still so vibrant, this 2017 Gran Reserva from Bodegas LAN is textbook gorgeous Rioja.
