The New England Nationals will complete at Thunder Valley this weekend for the Top Fuel and Funny Car categories. The Top Fuel category will see Leah Pruett and Shawn Langdon line up on the starting line Friday to finally claim a winner. Who will it be?

Ron Capps has been named the 2026 honoree of Bristol Dragway’s Legends of Thunder Valley Hall of Fame!

The winningest driver in Thunder Valley history with eight Funny Car victories, Capps becomes the Hall’s 24th inductee and just the third active participant to receive the honor. The current Funny Car points leader returns to Bristol this weekend as the defending event champion and a four-time world title hopeful.

These three unique rides at Mickey Thompson Turn & Burn proved there’s no single formula for drag-and-drive success. From Rick Russell’s twin-turbo 1979 Dodge Lil’ Red Express to Jake Marshall’s blown 1966 Pontiac GTO gasser and Jeremy Bonnett’s “Last Penny” 1933 Willys, the event showcased creativity, horsepower, and the diverse machines that make drag-and-drive racing unlike anything else.

Leah Pruett continues to prove she’s one of the most versatile figures in NHRA drag racing — balancing life as a mother while also handling driving duties, team management, sponsorship relations, personnel decisions, and behind-the-scenes operations at TSR Nitro.

Husband Tony Stewart compared Pruett to NASCAR veteran Kevin Harvick, praising her ability to compete at the highest level while helping build and manage a winning organization from every angle.

Due to rain, NHRA was unable to complete all final rounds this weekend at New England Dragway. The final round of the Top Fuel and Funny Car categories will be completed the Friday of the Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway, this coming weekend.
