Way to go guys! Overhaulers' volunteers continue to provide "handyman-like" services to those in need. Recent projects (see pics) include wheelchair ramp, light construction for Community Mission of Hope, oil change/auto service for single mom, a family move, and just yesterday refurbishing modulars at Rancho. The modular project is a cross-generational collaboration of men working shoulder-to-shoulder and forging new friendships....advancing the cause!!

GREAT turn-out for Being Men - Summer 2016 Series last night, Mon., July 11th -- Pastor Scott shared a compelling vision for men making a difference starting at home, which strengthens the church, which transforms the community. Rancho is demonstrating this through outward influence and striving to unify men of all generations with a common purpose -- standing "Shoulder-to-Shoulder and NEVER alone." Join us next Monday, July 18th from 7 to 8:30 pm. Because summer is a challenging time for a multi-week study, each Monday evening is a standalone event that has a unique theme - next week is on "Creativity" led by Mike Johnson. Food/Drinks will be served between 6 and 7 so try to get there early (31300 Rancho Community Way, Temecula - Generations Venue).
Rancho Men's Breakfast starts at 7 am Saturday (5/21)! "Moving the event inside to Youth Center due to cold weather, but it'll be amazing for the monster breakfast burritos alone!😀😀😀 Oh yeah, there's the chill music by Jullian, interactive conversation about simply 'being men,' and fully resting in that. Because on this day, there's no mountain to climb, fish to catch, drone to pilot, or computer to re-build. Just hanging out and getting caught up on what Rancho guys are up to!!!" BTW - Did you know there are countries where a mid-day NAP is a normal part of a work day! Let's move there, or simply add naps into our local culture! Who's in?
See you in the morning!

Rancho Men's Breakfast was awesome this morning! A "packed house" showed up for pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, and a timely message by Monty Sharp. Monty gave the men tips on living into a consistent, "healthy" relationship with God and others, emphasizing the importance of Investing ample TIME in all relationships (especially with God). He shared a key passage from Luke 10:38-42 where Martha is seen as "very busy, distracted with much serving....anxious and troubled about many things." Monty cited Busy-ness as the enemy of intimacy and closed out with an assignment for the guys to "know the love languages of others, especially wives and close family." This time of year is meant to be a time of celebration and joy, and yet busy-ness and chaos can quickly destroy the purpose of the season. Fight for your TIME, spend it wisely.....then get down, word up, and work hard! A huge thank you to Monty, the cooking team, Rancho Community and all those who showed up at 7 am to make this a special morning. Check out pics and plan ahead for next Men's breakfast on February 6th!
