I train Stangs

From wild roots to a bright future. 🌵➡️☀️

Check out Brownie back when we were first working on halting/ leading and other fundamental skills. I was lucky enough to give him some of his very first lessons in critical foundations for Karen Deines.

Fast forward to today, and he is absolutely blooming with Lissy Stafford. It’s a proud "trainer moment" to see a Mustang transition so seamlessly into a domestic career. Good luck to this team!

🐴 One to Watch: Katniss is For Sale!
I am so excited to see this special horse moving on to find their person! I had the absolute pleasure of starting Katniss shortly after the track, and let me tell you—the brain on this one is top-tier.

When we started, our focus was all about building a solid foundation:

Establishing a soft, rhythmic rhythm.

Teaching her how to use their body correctly off the track.

Instilling the confidence and ground manners they need for a second career.

It’s always bittersweet to see them go, but her current placement has been doing a fantastic job continuing her education. This horse is truly set up for success and ready to thrive in their next chapter!

Reflecting on the untamed spirit: The journey of 'I Train Stangs'."

For three decades, I've had the immense privilege of working hand-in-hand (and hoof-in-hand!) with incredible horses. In recent years most of my expertise has been used for and taught by Mustangs. Each 'stang taught me something new about patience, trust, and the profound art of communication. While my focus has shifted to the deeper scientific analysis of equine behavior through Beau monde Equine, the lessons learned in the round pen with these wild hearts continue to shape every insight I share.

This photo reminds me of the raw connection that drives all successful horsemanship. The spirit of 'I Train Stangs' lives on in every virtual consultation.

Please leave a review of you've done business with me in the past and share with your equine community. Thank you!
