🥎 Season Wrap-Up for the Code Runners! 🏃♂️💨
Our Temecula Valley Hospital Code Runners brought the energy all season long—finishing strong with an impressive 2nd place overall! 🙌
After an exciting championship game filled with big hits, great plays, and team spirit, they came just shy of the top spot—but secured one of their best finishes in recent seasons!
Shoutout to our incredible team (including four of our very own TVH employees!) for representing TVH with pride, teamwork, and heart both on and off the field. 💙 Help us congratulate the Code Runners on an amazing season! 👏
🧠 Not all strokes happen suddenly. Some build silently over time.
When arteries inside the brain become dangerously narrowed, blood flow is restricted—raising the risk of stroke or repeated mini-strokes (TIAs).
Intracranial angioplasty is an advanced, minimally invasive procedure that can help restore blood flow. Using a tiny balloon guided through a catheter, specialists carefully open narrowed arteries deep within the brain—sometimes placing a stent to keep the vessel open.
This precise treatment can reduce the risk of future strokes and help protect critical brain function.
At Temecula Valley Hospital, our expert teams provide advanced neurovascular care to help patients when it matters most.

Spotlight: Medication History Technicians 💊💙
At Temecula Valley Hospital, our Medication History Technicians are making a powerful difference in patient care every day. While much of their work happens behind the scenes, their impact is felt by every patient they support. From ensuring medications are accurate to helping patients access the treatments they need, this team plays a critical role in safety and recovery.
They go the extra mile by helping patients understand their prescriptions, checking insurance coverage and removing barriers that could delay care. In one recent case, a technician helped a patient access a medication that would have cost $400—at no cost—ensuring they could continue their treatment without interruption. They’re also enhancing the patient experience through our Meds to Beds program, delivering medications directly to patients before discharge—making the transition home easier and more seamless.
Through compassion, teamwork and dedication, our Medication History Technicians are helping patients heal with confidence. 👏 Thank you for all that you do!

Last week, the Southwest Healthcare Medical Education Consortium hosted our SIM Olympics 🏅—a hands-on simulation event where resident physicians practice real-life patient scenarios in a safe, controlled learning environment.
Through interactive challenges, residents strengthened their clinical skills, communication, and teamwork—skills that directly support high-quality patient care in our hospitals. We were excited to welcome participants from General Surgery at Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital and OB/GYN at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital, highlighting collaboration across our system.
The energy was high, the teamwork was strong, and the commitment to learning was on full display 👏
