Stage 4. Getting close. 😮‍💨

Need to fix the back tire, the fender, the step, the mirror, and finalize details. So close. Oh, and also add the sun. Don’t forget about the damn sun.

Stage 3. Okay, I’ve figured a couple things out. With oil, as far as I can tell, I think it will work better for canvas. It’s kind of a pain on the board. I painted the hoodie guy with oil, but wasn’t liking where it was going so I wiped it all off and redid it with acrylic. So, I’m still figuring out best use cases for oil. I did paint the car with oil, so I dunno 🤷‍♂️ Still got a ways to go.

Super quick and dirty 3-hour painting. Just wanted to do a small version of a possible bigger one. I think I’m gonna keep hoodie guy with his face always hidden. But, I had to see if it worked. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I feel like this painting I’ll keep working on for Montana’s in the eating I’ll paint acrylic paintings. Oil is hard.

Here we go. This one will be devoid of hoodie guy, but there will be remnants of him being there. 30x30 canvas. I found this canvas at a thrift shop and it’s just been sitting there for months. Excited to paint this one. 🥳

I think I may resurrect this. This is probably 15 years old, never finished it. Maybe I should 🤷‍♂️ as a painting? Just for funsies.

I’m gonna be a busy guy this year. Got into another/different juried show in LA. They said they only pick 40 pieces out of 800, so that’s something. I don’t know what it is about this piece but the exhibits sure seem to like it. Maybe I should raise the price 🤔 Wendy Perlin
