Today we are installing a new fuel injection system on a couple Allison setups. Doing away with the old injection nozzles and going with a tunable setup. The customer will now be able to tune the cylinders individually and be able to tune the whole motor versus tuning the whole motor to the one lean cylinder. Six more cylinders to go so back to work I go. Enjoy your day folks.

A few days ago while going through an old toolbox in the old machine shed we came across a note written by my grandfather. It is an inventory list of the Allison engines he had at that time. For some reference the left and right was that motors rotation, next was the serial number and last is the series number. A true treasure and a reminder of his days with the ITPA Illinois Tractor Pulling Association.

Well I can now say it officially fits. It is most definitely going to present some challenges but we’ll cross them off of the list one by one. It is a toss up between the starter and the oil filter on which will be the most challenging. This is going to be a sharp little scooter when it’s complete if we can continue to keep everything under the hood.

The latest challenge is for a member of the Shriners International Ag Corp. We are going to squeeze this 460 Ford in this little Cockshutt 30. It’s definitely going to be a challenge in a couple locations but we’ll give it a shot. Standby for updates in the near future.

It’s that time of year and we have just finished up this year’s National Farm Machinery Show tractor project. This unit will be competing in Wednesday’s competition in the modified class coming off of being the point champion with the ITPA Illinois Tractor Pulling Association in 2024. It is owned by Steve Hood and Russel Phipps. We want to wish them and all of the competitors the best of luck.

A new addition has been made to the shop. After some modifications and small improvements including a cylinder rebuild and new hoses it is ready for a facelift in the near future. I think this unit deserves a nickname, any suggestions?
