You've been told you need to post more. More reels, more stories, more content, more consistency. And so you do. You show up, you create, you put it out there — and the results still don't match the effort.

Here's what nobody tells you. Content volume was never the issue.

When your message isn't clear, more content just means more confusion at a higher frequency. Your audience lands on your page and within seconds they can't tell who you help, what actually changes for them, or why you're the right person for it. So they keep scrolling. Not because your content was bad. Because it didn't answer the question they were silently asking.

Clarity is what makes content work. When you know exactly who you're talking to, what you're helping them with, and what makes you the right fit for them specifically, content becomes a different exercise entirely. You're not throwing things at a wall hoping something lands. You're speaking directly to one person and making them feel like you read their mind.

That's when content starts converting. Not when you post more of it.

If your content feels like a lot of effort for not enough return, it's worth looking at the foundation before creating anything else.

I spent a long time thinking there was only one way to build a coaching business online. Show up on social, post consistently, grow a following, and eventually the clients would come.

And for some people that works beautifully. But for a lot of the coaches I work with, it feels like dragging themselves through something that doesn't fit. They're doing everything right on paper and it still feels impossible. Not because they're lazy or inconsistent. Because they're on the wrong path for the way they actually work.

There's more than one way to build something that lasts. And part of what I do in a Brand Audit is figure out which one actually makes sense for you, your personality, your business model, and the life you're trying to build around it.
Because strategy that doesn't account for who you are is just another thing that won't stick.

If you want to learn more about the Brand Audit and how to get started, send me a DM or head to paigeone.co.

You did what you were supposed to do. You took the content course because you knew you needed to show up better online. You hired a social media manager because you didn't have time to do it all yourself. You spent real money and real time on both. And you were still in the same place.

Not because you made bad decisions. Because neither solution was looking at the right problem.

The content course gave you ideas but no strategy behind them. No clarity on who you were actually talking to, what made you different, or what you were trying to build. The social media manager executed without any of that either, posting consistently into a void with no clear message and nothing underneath it that would turn a follower into a client.

You didn't fail those solutions. The solutions were just incomplete.

What was missing wasn't more content or someone to manage it. It was a foundation. A brand that actually reflected your work. A message that landed with the right person. A system that connected everything together so that when someone found you, they knew immediately whether you were right for them.

That's what I see most often. Not coaches who aren't trying hard enough. Coaches who have been given ex*****on when what they actually needed was strategy first.

If you want to know exactly where the gaps are in your own marketing, I put together a free checklist that walks you through it. Five points, five minutes, and it will tell you more about what's actually costing you clients than most paid courses will.

There's a version of your brand that actually reflects how good you are.

And I think about this a lot, because the coaches I work with are not struggling because they're bad at what they do. They're some of the most knowledgeable, genuinely talented people I've come across. They have transformation stories that would stop you in your tracks. Clients who found them at their lowest and completely turned things around because of their work.

But then someone lands on their page and none of that comes through.

The bio reads like a resume. The website is something they built in a weekend two years ago and have been quietly embarrassed about ever since. The visuals blend into every other account in their space. And so the person who could have been their next client scrolls past, not because they weren't the right fit, but because nothing online told that story well enough to make them stop.

That gap, between how good you actually are and how you're being perceived online, is not a content problem. It's not a posting schedule problem. It's a foundation problem. And it's one of the most common things I see.

I put together a free checklist specifically for this. Five points, each one identifying a specific gap in your brand or marketing that's quietly costing you clients every month. It takes about five minutes to go through and most coaches check at least three boxes the first time they read it.

If all your clients come from referrals, your brand isn't doing its job.

You're two years in. You have real results and a roster full of clients who genuinely love working with you. But every single one of them found you through a personal referral. Not one came from your content or your website.
You're not being lazy. You're showing up every week, posting consistently, doing everything you've been told to do. But nothing is clicking.

Here's what's usually going on. Your bio talks about your credentials instead of what changes for the client reading it. Your content educates but never leads anywhere. Your website is something you've quietly stopped sending people to. And your visual brand looks like every other wellness account in the space.

The effort is there. The foundation isn't. And content can't carry a brand that hasn't been properly built yet.
Save this. If it sounds like someone you know, send it to them. And if it sounds like you, comment CHECKLIST and I'll send you the free Client Drought Checklist straight to your DMs.

I've spent years doing photoshoots, walking local fashion shows, and working on set for music video productions. From the outside that probably looked like someone completely comfortable being seen.

The reality is I was crawling out of my skin for most of it.

I'm still not a natural on camera. But I kept showing up anyway, not because it got easier overnight, but because I learned something I couldn't un-learn: discomfort isn't a signal to stop. It's just part of the process.

That chapter is also what makes me actually mean it when I say I get it. Not as a platitude. I understand what it feels like to put your face and your ideas into the world before you feel ready, and I know what happens when you do it anyway.

This is going to be everything I know about marketing and showing up. I don't gatekeep. Follow along if that's your thing.

You planted the seeds.
You’ve got the offer, the content, the visibility.

So why does it still feel like nothing’s growing?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately while helping my daughter plant an apple tree at our new place.
It reminded me how growth doesn’t just happen because you show up.
It happens because the environment is right. The conditions are supported. The care is intentional.

Marketing is no different.
You need clarity at the root, visibility that makes sense for your brand, and nurture that builds actual connection.
Otherwise? You’re left watering dry soil.

If your content is out there but conversions aren’t coming in—this is where to look.
The Funnel Clarity Guide walks you through the structure behind real growth.

DM us “CLARITY” and we’ll send it your way.

If you’ve been doing all your marketing yourself, you already know—there are a lot of moving parts.

And I’ll be honest: I do this for clients every day, and even I felt overwhelmed when it came time to build out my own systems.

That’s why I created the Funnel Clarity Guide.

Not to sell some magic fix—but to finally show what actually needs to be in place before your marketing can start working for you.

It’s visual. It’s clear. And it helps you make smart, strategic choices about where to focus first—without burning out trying to do everything at once.

I wish someone gave this to me when I was starting out.
Now I’m giving it to you.

Here’s what I’d do instead 👇🏼

First—I’d turn everything off.
No posting, no boosting. Just space to actually look.
I’d audit the whole funnel and ask:
→ Is the offer clear?
→ Is the next step obvious?
→ Where are people dropping off?

Then I’d stop blaming the algorithm and start rebuilding the path.
Because most of the time, it’s not a traffic problem.
It’s a system problem.

Next—I’d ask myself if I’ve made it easy for people to say yes.
Or if I’m accidentally asking them to jump through hoops.

Then—I’d comment CLARITY to get our Funnel Clarity Guide.
It breaks down exactly what needs to be working behind the scenes before your marketing actually performs.

After that, I’d simplify the whole thing.
One clear offer. One destination. One journey that’s built to convert.

✨ Any other questions? We’re always here to help—just drop us a DM.

Feel like your marketing’s “almost” working?

You’re posting. You’re present. Maybe even running some ads.
But conversions? Crickets.

I’ve been there.
I used to think if I just did more, things would finally click.

But the truth is—effort without structure only gets you so far.
It wasn’t until I rebuilt the backend of my business that growth actually started to happen.

That’s why I created the Funnel Clarity Guide.

It breaks down:
✓ The 5 funnel stages that need to be in place
✓ What to fix when your content gets views but not results
✓ How to align your messaging, offer, and visibility into a working system

This is what I now use with every client we work with. It’s the clarity I wish I had when I was starting.

Comment CLARITY and follow the page so we can send it straight to your inbox.
