Here are some quick tips on things you should NOT do AFTER applying for a mortgage:
❌ DON’T deposit or withdraw large amounts of money
❌ DON’T co-sign other loans for anyone
❌ DON’T close or open any new credit cards
❌ DON’T change jobs, especially into a new industry
These actions can potentially raise red flags to lenders and cause your closing to be delayed or cancelled altogether. Don't risk it!

1. Figure out why you're not able to qualify and get it fixed. Often times it's a bad credit score that can be easily taken care of.
2. Sometimes you can’t afford the down payment. But there are a ton of down payment assistance programs that may be available to help!
3. Affordability should be a top priority. Don't buy something you qualify for - but would struggle to pay each month.
