Hey Altus renters! We are interested in your thoughts. What airplanes or types of planes would you be interested in renting other than the 172 and 150? What would bring you out to fly more?

Say hello to . She will be joining our fleet in a few short months. She is a 1971 172L just like La Paloma. As you can see she has original paint so she is going to go get a new paint job on her prior to coming online. We are very excited to be adding to the fleet. Please spread the word so we can keep her busy.

Since we have some down time from all this weather, we are using it to knock out some maintenance. La Paloma is getting her left mag replaced because she was dropping about 200 rpm during the last mag test and that is out of limits. She is also getting the left main tire replaced since it’s showing some wear on the inside. We received a squawk that the marker beacon isn’t working when flying instrument approaches so we are working on that issue as well.

We are now offering 40 block hours for the 172 for $5000. That will buy you 40 credits and each credit will be worth 1 hour at the current rate of $135/hour wet. Message us or contact management for details.

It’s great for IFR though...

This has been in the works for a while and it’s been hard keeping it under wraps. We would like to announce the newest member to our fleet of rental aircraft. It’s a 2004 Cirrus SR22 that we will be renting for $200/hour wet. Start booking now!
