And just like that, the 2023 lambing season is over. We wrapped it up this morning with this beautiful, big girl. 2023 totals are 4 ram lambs and 10 ewe lambs from 8 mothers. Time to get these babies registered.

There is no slowing down on weekends. Knocked out building a collapsible brooder for our upcoming chicks. This will be used inside one of our buildings so no bottom is needed except for a tarp with bedding on top. If we were to use outside, we would add a bottom to it and raise it off the ground so no flooding could happen.

Lambing season for LoKat Ranch began 1/27/23. So far we have 12 beautiful Katahdin lambs from 6 ewes. We are still waiting on 2 more to give birth.
