Last week, I spent some time away from our shops as I traveled with my husband to visit his family in Roatán.

As many of you may know, I work most every day, and the truth is - I love the life I've created around "work" over the last decade. If you don't see me at the shop - I'm usually in the back working on something, running to meetings, or working remotely while giving our team the opportunity to grow and take the lead.

This year, I've also been back at St. Petersburg College taking Tourism & Hospitality courses in preparation for the upcoming Tarpon Registry project.

Today marked my first day back in the shop after 11 days away - the longest I've been gone since becoming the owner of One Amazing Find.

When I walked in this afternoon, I was overwhelmed with gratitude.

The shop was full. It looked beautiful. The team was doing what they do best. Everything was running exactly as it should.

The heart of this business has always been the people behind it. I will never take this opportunity for granted, and I will always be grateful for the incredible team that shows up every day & for the customers who choose to support us.

Days like today remind me just how lucky I am to call this my work, my team, and my community. ❤️

🎨 Open Craft Bar
A relaxed, open creative space where you can work on a DIY kit at your own pace. Bring back a project to finish or start something new while enjoying a fun, welcoming atmosphere. No formal instruction or participation fee!
