Raising rabbits can bring a lot of joy and love. We currently raise and show New Zealand and American rabbits. We also raise TAMUKs.

ARBA sanctioned shows help us see how we can improve our lines and build our community. This webpage is where I can share all the cute and cuddly rabbits I raise without bombarding my friends and family.

Last night, we packed up after work and drove to Carrollton, GA for a rabbit show. We spent the night and got up to go show some Red bucks and a Broken Red doe. Sometimes, trips like this are a relaxing time/mini vacation from stress.

Hinton's Chippy, our big baby, was entered for fun and along for the ride. He is past his show prime, but he loves the attention.

64's Steve had the most consistent day with wins. She took BOV for broken in all 3 shows. She also took BOB in Show B.

Highway 64's Faye won the best Red buck all 3 shows, getting BOV and possibly BOSV in Show A and B. I truly can't remember which at this point in the day. He also took BOSB in Show B.

Highway 64's Anna took BOSV and BOSB in Show C.

It was a surprising day to say the least. I truly enjoy hanging out with my friends and my husband. Angela Wilson and Melissa Spake always make the craziness at the show table fun. We didn't enter any Americans because they all look like cottonballs. It's always pretty lively.

The judges and show crew did a great job.

I can't wait to see the results in writing. I know we all did well.

BOB/BOSB
Show A - Whites
Show B - Broken Red/Red
Show C - Reds

Jim Leopard (Highway 64 Rabbitry) your buns love showing out. Faye was still blowing his coat (whoch he also did it at the last show we were at 9/5).

Pics of all the buns except Anna. I will take one with his ribbon tomorrow. The buns were all ready to go home.

Today, we attended a show in Murfreesboro, TN hosted by Music City RBA. We only carried 2 NZs.

For both Show A & C - Highway 64 Steve, Broken Red Intermediate Doe took BOB (leg). Highway 64 Faye, Red Senior Buck took BOV (no leg).

Steve got an honorable mention during Best of Show A. We had to leave before Best of Show C unfortunately.

Thank you Jim Leopard for trusting me with these rabbits. I look forward to breeding them and expanding my lines.

Do you ask first or ask for forgiveness?

It has been almost 19 years of marriage....he still does my crazy chores!

This big guy went with me to pick up cage supplies to replace the Dumor ones that I got years ago.

He is calm going into the rabbitry and checking around the babies to make sure they're safe. It's cute watching them nose each other.

SURF's 2nd Riptide and Cavy Show is finally over. Even as part of the show crew, I had a blast. My friends and family were there, even one of my granddaughters. It was her 1st ever rabbit show before 4 months old.

I owe my friends a big thank you for helping me with my rabbits all day yesterday!

I do not know all the results yet, but our rabbits did pretty well. BYL's Fix UR Crown aka Queen here, got at least her last leg to be able to be granded.

The 2 young Blue Americans appeared to do pretty well with both taking with BOV/BOSV at one point. I think the buck took BOSB.

I ended up carrying home some new reds from Highway 64 Rabbitry. I had been waiting on them for a while. According to his post, the broken doe did very well yesterday!

I don't do well taking pictures unless I am reminded to take them.

After the reports are sent out, I will post an update. Today, we "rest" and get over the show hangover feeling while doing only what's necessary.

Packed up for the day and headed to SURF's 2nd Riptide Rabbit and Cavy Show! It's set to be a good time. I will be bringing some kits tomorrow for some time getting handled and checked out by some fellow breeders. It's nice to get outside opinions so you don't get barn blind.

Today, I got off work and stopped by the store. I went to feed and water the rabbits. At this point, I found a NZ kit (yes not an ARBA recognized color) was missing. I didn't fully latch the cage. So, my son helped me catch the pretty well camouflaged doe. She is cleaned up and calming down before going back to mom.

When people say count kits, this is one of the reasons.
