We have received reports of individuals driving around in a white, unmarked truck, falsely claiming to be WREC employees. These individuals are going door-to-door with fake WREC badges, asking to check breaker panels, and then stealing items from homes. For your safety, please do not open your door to these individuals and call 911 immediately. Remember, WREC employees will always be in marked vehicles, wearing WREC clothing, and carrying legitimate badges. We will never ask to enter your home.
