For those of you creating any type of Web Series, (genre-specific or not), much like creating a professional feature film or documentary, you still need to have a business plan and marketing plan in place. If you're attempting this as anything other than a hobby, it is imperative that you have an outlet for your creation(s) and something other than Youtube. We own our own IPTV process. Maybe we can help you get your web series out to the world and possibly, if what you've created is good, maybe we can help you earn some revenue. There are a couple of good points here in addition to the main theme. Remember, now your finished film has to be better than you ever imagined in order to compete in today's marketplace. This article seems to focus on the films at Sundance. So if you're planning or in the middle of a film production, your film has to look equally as good, be lit properly, have the sound levels adjusted accordingly, have quality performers and the story, story, story has to be INCREDIBLY unique. If you do anything less, then you're enabling mediocrity. If you want to be a professional, then your film has to be as good as a film at Sundance, Cannes and AFM, whether you get in or not. Of course, all of this is of course, if you're doing this business as a business and not a hobby.

A couple of F-bombs and some adult content. Here's a fun movie that hails from the Down Under. For all indie filmmakers out there, Twenty Ten is an homage to Kevin Smith's "Clerks" and a roller coaster ride/tour de force of a romantic comedy. Watch TWENTY TEN! Filmmakers: THIS is why you cannot send you're script unsolicited. THIS is why you have to have coverage done before you attempt (what you believe is) "shopping" your script. And THIS is why you should not make your own movie (shooting a script YOU wrote) until the project has been properly vetted. http://www.scriptmag.com/features/behind-the-lines-with-dr-will-you-read-my-script
