🥵Is Florida done pre-heating yet? Today was brutal! 🫠

📨We got an email last night about a Lil family in need. (We've got a LOT of emails about animals in need actually. It's been nonstop.) But this one just grabbed me at the right time and only 10 minutes away from my neighborhood. (Riverview)

😢The usual story. A very young mama cat and kittens showed up in a residential neighborhood. No one claimed her.

🤪Sooooo. We set up a plan and this morning headed over with traps & carriers and yummy foods (and no sunscreen because that would have made too much sense.)🫠

Yada yada yada... with the help of the awesome ladies who contacted us, 4 of us were able to wrangle mama and all 3 kittens (no traps needed!) into safety. Just a little crawling through gardens and yards in 9,000 degree humidity and wrangling some feral kittens to start our day off right. 😂

We now have ➕️4️⃣ in the rescue & what an absolutely precious family. We can't wait to officially introduce our little Garden Gnome Crew. 🪴

🐈‍⬛Mama is a kitten herself, so tiny, and SO sweet. (No chip- shocker.) And babies are about 7 weeks and spicy! We love 'em spicy.

🐈Socialization has commenced and they're all doing fantastic! What beauties too!

✅️Everyone is already flea treated, dewormed, clean, safe and dry from this current rain we so desperately need! Soon they will see our vet and all will be fully vetted in the coming weeks.

⭐️They will all be available in June or July. We do not preadopt. Our kittens can't be adopted as solo kittens. :) (please don't email about them yet, we don't have waitlists.)

🩷We are so grateful for a community who cares, fosters who stepped up, and our team coming together to save 4 more!

Happy YAYYY Chi-Mix Tails to our precious, perfect, adorable Barbie!!! This girlie pop joined us in January along with 7 others! She has been pure joy to have in the rescue! Today, she joins the home she has been waiting for! She has 2 human kiddos to grow up with, a beautiful yard to call her own and human parents who have been waiting for the perfect fit to spoil rotten. It was meant to be! Barbie is already so loved and cherished and we know she is going to be such an amazing part of the family! Fostering and Adoption directly saves the lives of the most deserving animals and couldn't be happier to see another of our amazing rescues beginning their forever! This is forever our why! Wishing this sweet girl her biggest and best life and her loving family all the tail wags and puppy snuggles together for years to come! 🩷
