Creative Sign Designs recently fabricated and installed the signage for the LaVilla Lift Ev’ry Voice & Sing Heritage Trail in Jacksonville, Florida.

This newly opened self-guided walking trail connects 22 markers across LaVilla, sharing the stories of the artists, leaders, institutions, and everyday people who helped shape Jacksonville’s cultural legacy. The approximately 1.75-mile route was developed through years of planning by the City of Jacksonville, the Downtown Investment Authority, and a community-led committee dedicated to preserving and elevating LaVilla’s history.

For a project rooted in storytelling, every sign needed to do more than mark a location. Each piece had to support wayfinding, withstand the public environment, and help make history visible, accessible, and connected to place.

Creative Sign Designs played a role in bringing this important trail to life through signage that helps visitors experience LaVilla’s resilience, creativity, and enduring impact.

Recognition of our 40th anniversary milestone extended all the way to Capitol Hill. U.S. Representative Gus M. Bilirakis took to the floor of Congress to honor Creative Sign Designs and the leadership of its President and CEO, Jamie Harden.

The Congressman noted that CSD’s journey began with a focus on quality mailboxes before evolving under Jamie’s direction into a national leader in architectural signage, a trajectory that reflects both strategic vision and a relentless commitment to craft. He also recognized Jamie’s contributions beyond the business: his service as Past Chairman of the Tampa Bay Chamber and the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, and over 30 years of partnership with his family.
