We had a blast with this group, and our JUST A MINUTE 4 PHILANTHROPY experience, benefitting USO Central Florida, in Tampa, last week!
Is a pencil just used for writing? Is a plastic cup just used for drinking? Is a ping pong ball just used for . . .? Combining some creativity along with a competitive spirit, JUST A MINUTE 4 PHILANTHROPY explores the various “non-traditional” uses for everyday objects, all while enhancing employee engagement and fostering collaboration. Each team mans its own “station,” where a variety of challenges are presented and completed, all in an effort to outscore the competition and take home (and to the office) the gold medals. Additionally, teams assemble care packages for less-fortunate individuals of your choice. Does your team have what it takes?

Did you know that there are actually 4 verses to "The Star-Spangled Banner"?
Here's verse 1, which is what we hear at sporting events, with spelling and punctuation from Francis Scott Key's manuscript . . .
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watch'd were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bomb bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
We had a blast with this group, and our WINE & APPETIZERS experience, outside of Atlanta, Georgia, last weekend!
This experience whets your participants’ appetites for a future meal, tasty wine consumption, collaboration, camaraderie, and out-of-the-office fun! As teams complete various mental, minimally-physical, and creative challenges, they earn the supplies needed to prepare their finger foods, wine-of-choice, and décor equipment. Topping it all off is the tasting at each team’s “osteria.” WINE & APPETIZERS is THE “happy hour” team building event, built upon the gratifying Italian ritual, the aperitivo.

Happy Pride month to all!
We had a blast with this group, and our Bridge The Gap experience, outside of Detroit, last week!
Participants worked together using their creativity, brains, and brawn, to design and build a “bridge,” indicative of the organization, its people, products, and goals, which supported the weight of the entire group. Armed only with cardboard, duct tape, and a few decorative items, ingenuity and propaganda prowess fill the room. For those who fear physics – don’t worry – we guide participants through the process. Bridge The Gap is equal parts productivity, physics, and play . . . sure to unite your team in spirit and substance!

Did you know . . .
honoring the men and women who have died while serving in the military, communities, individuals, and organizations have kept Memorial Day in various forms in the United States since the end of the Civil War. General John Logan first called for a nationwide day of remembrance on May 5, 1868. The observance was called Decoration Day, and it was observed on May 30th, 1868.
Decoration Day gradually became known as Memorial Day and now honors all U.S. service members who have died during a military conflict. Memorial Day continued to be observed on May 30th for many years. Then, in 1968, Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act of 1968. Since 1971, Memorial Day has been observed the last Monday of May.

We received such phenomenal feedback from the participants, for whom we recently created this as a custom experience, we’ve decided to add it to our catalogue of offerings . . .
This isn’t your grandparents’ board game! DO NOT PASS GO is our elevated “chase” experience, based upon the beloved classic board game, Monopoly®. While all twenty-two properties, as well as the railroads and utilities, are in play, the properties are grouped according to color and “stationed” at various landmarks in your city. Each team has its own chauffeur-driven vehicle, transporting them from landmark to landmark. At each of these landmarks, teams encounter “Mr. Moneybags,” ready to facilitate transactions and rolls of the dice. Armed with an attache case, ring-boxed player piece, location key, and starting cash, collaboration, communication, and cunning know-how are all essential to build a monopoly and win the game.
