Some of you may know that I didn't have a kiln at the studio until very recently. I had been taking all the student work home to bisque fire, taking it back to the studio be glazed, and then back home again to fire the second time. I did this because I had this big dream in my heart to start the teaching space even though I didn't have all the fancy equipment some may think is needed to start a space like this. I couldn't pass up the space I found and I am sure glad I didn't get stuck on what I didn't have. The studio was started with a wish and prayer and I am so pleased to announce that I am firing the first ever kiln load here (test fire). I can't help but feel like this is monumental on so many levels. Can't wait to see the amazing creations that will come of this. Also, taking name suggestions! 🤩🎉🥳🏺⚱️
