Lively had the privilege of connecting with two outstanding leadership groups today, sharing opportunities and pathways to future success.

At the City of Tallahassee Intern Program, Sherbah Carey and Lanisha Wetherington encouraged participants to think about what’s next and highlighted how Lively can serve as a launchpad for educational and career achievement.

Meanwhile, back on the LTC campus, Al Petersen joined Sherbah and Lanisha in speaking with BBMC Leadership Camp Treppie students about the many opportunities available through Lively and how those opportunities can help shape their future.

We are grateful to the City of Tallahassee and BBMC for their partnership and commitment to investing in the next generation of Titans. Together, we are inspiring future leaders and creating pathways to success!

We had the privilege of hearing from Dr. Ashlee Fontes, whose presentation, The Power Within: Finding Your Why Where You Are, was both inspiring and affirming. Her message was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we embrace our purpose and lead with intention.

Today, we also had the pleasure of sharing our table with representatives from Leon Chorus and their upcoming summer production of Frozen, as well as the new principal of Godby High School, Dr. Scott, and Melissa Wright from Capital City Bank.

The Orellana brothers: Felix Jr., Alexis Antonio, and Elvis, are each stepping into the workforce after graduating from Lively Technical College’s HVAC program, signing with Goodwill Industries, Danfoss, and AirCrew.

Their journey also comes full circle for their mother, Marleny Orellana, a former Lively graduate in Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy, who encouraged her sons to continue their education and pursue a career path of their own.

From one graduate to four, the Orellana family represents the impact career and technical education can have across generations.
