Springtime Tallahassee is a nonprofit civic organization dedicated to the promotion of Tallahassee and the preservation of its history through the production of an annual festival. In 1967, Florida had its first Legislature based on reapportionment when Southern and Central Florida Legislators suggested moving the capitol to Orlando.
