Appa is a 6 year old standard Aussie. He is up to date on all shots, neutered, and about 50lbs. He loves to play fetch with his ball and has a high working drive. He learns new tricks/commands easily and loves to be close to his people. He does not get along with male dogs or kids so he would do best as the only dog or with female dogs only. He loves to snuggle on the couch or bed at the end of the day and is extremely affectionate. Located in the Seattle area.

Please email for any inquiries or questions about Appa to [email protected]

Meet Sheila! Sheila is a gorgeous blue merle, 50 lb girl who is looking for a Furever home. Her age is between 5-6 years old, is up to date on vaccines, chipped, spayed and potty trained. She loves to be outside in the yard in the sunshine. She can be picky about other dogs but is easily corrected. I wouldn’t recommend dog parks based on her not always being friendly. Loves people, belly rubs and hanging out. She is quiet and easy to have around.

Sheila is being fostered in Portland and will be available through Australian Shepherds Furever shortly.

Piper is a 2 1/2 year old female mini Aussie, currently living in the Seattle area. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and chipped. She is very energetic, smart, and thinks she’s a guard dog until she realizes she gets pets or treats. She loves herding dogs at the park and being in charge, and always has a toy in her mouth. Super sweet dog!

Meet Chester! He is a Border Collie mix, 7 yrs 10 mos old, 80lbs. He’s a great dog with lots of wonderful attributes for the right person or family. He is smart, enjoys learning, listens well, eager to please and plays well with other dogs. He is usually calm and laid back at home but enjoys going outside for walks, hiking, exploring or just playing. He walks well on leash and the best way to bond with him is to take him walking or through training sessions.
Chester’s owner/dad (my brother) recently passed away and he has been living with my husband and I but we are an older couple and are unable to safely provide the care and exercise needs of a dog his size. We love him but we regrettably need to rehome him for his future health and happiness to a home that can better meet his needs. He is house trained, microchipped, neutered, vaccinations are up to date and is in good health. He has lived and gotten along well with a 6 lbs chihuahua, a senior lab retriever and a tortoise. He hasn’t been around a lot of children but he does fine with children in the family. He hasn’t been around cats.. His ideal home would be somewhere he would be loved and well cared for by an individual, couple or family with older children and a house with a fully fenced yard would be nice and possibly another pup to play with! We are located in Vancouver, WA. If you think you and Chester would be a good match contact me at email: [email protected]

COURTESY POST:

Prepare to fall head over heels for Vader! This charming, five-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd is eagerly searching for his forever family. Vader is not just a handsome face; he's also fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, ensuring a healthy and responsible companion.

A homebody with a heart of gold, Vader values comfort and companionship. He's perfectly house-trained and a pro with a doggie door. While he enjoys the occasional walk and car ride, he's not one for endless games of fetch. Instead, Vader's true calling is cuddling! This super snuggler loves to curl up beside you, offering warmth and comfort on cool fall nights. Weighing in at a modest 27 lbs, Vader is a small boy with a big heart. He's incredibly well-behaved when left alone, so you can leave without worrying about chewed furniture or mischievous antics.

Vader thrives in a calm and quiet environment. He's a bit protective of his home and requires slow, patient introductions to new people. Ideally, he'd prefer a household with not a lot of strangers coming and going.

Vader is generally good with other animals. With proper introductions, he gets along well with cats and most dogs. He currently lives happily with four other Australian Shepherds, one of whom is his best friend, enjoying playful chases in the yard.

Vader is currently being fostered in Portland, Oregon, and is ready to meet his perfect match. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and wonderfully cuddly companion to share your quiet home, Vader might just be the one for you!

Vader will be available through Australian Shepherds Furever in the next couple days, but you can reach out to [email protected] for more information

ADOPTED!

Courtsey post. Contact info in the post

Chloe Rae is a 7 ½ yr-old spayed Border Collie mix. She is fully vaccinated, very smart and needs a loving, forever home. Her owner was recently moved into assisted care and Chloe is being temporarily cared for by a neighbor. She is very “herdy” and will chase livestock and cats. She has no experience with kids and minimal exposure to other dogs. Chloe is house broken but has no crate training. She would do well in a home with no other pets and a fenced yard which is how she has lived the last 7 years. Chloe knows “sit, stay, speak”. If you are interested in giving Chloe a soft place to land, please reach out to Flora at [email protected] If you are not an approved foster, please consider filling out an application https://www.herduneededahome.com/foster-a-dog

Courtsey post:

Hi, my name is Scooter. I am a Lab/Blue Heeler mix. I am looking for a new home. I am approx 18-24 months old. My current owner rescued me from a shelter and they were really sure how old I was. She loves me very much and this is a hard decision for her, but she realizes that she cannot give me the attention I deserve. She wants what is best for me.
I am all bark and no bite and love to be loved. I love being around people and have been neutered, vaccinated and chipped. I am pretty smart and am a fast learner. I am food motivated. I do need some obedience training, but nothing drastic. I am really good off leash and rarely (if ever) stray from my owner.

Please reach out if find these pics adorable, want to learn more about me, and want to help me find a new home.
