Since January, on Mondays at 4pm we have been hosting the “Glitter Gardeners” as we prep for Seattle Pride Parade!!!
Kari from FullCup Candle has been leading the way. We have the cutest vehicle, some great outfits, and now are working on the banner!
If you want to join us, and make some flowers, pass our flower seeds at the Seattle Pride Parade, stop by the shop on Monday 4-6pm

Hi friends! I am hosting a panel with ProWritingAid's Write with Pride event on June 30. Join me and a great group of LGBTIA+ writers and writing professionals to discuss "Embracing Flaw and Friction in Q***r Fiction."
In this panel, we'll be exploring the struggle to write authentic, flawed characters while also wanting to protect our community, which is facing intense scrutiny, book bans, and oppressive legislation. How does the love we have for ourselves and each other, along with our ability to embrace our own shadows, enable us to write powerful q***r stories with courage?

Controversial opinion - I hate mystery bags!!!
When we started making the book filler bags for our bookshelves - I wanted transparency, but also some fun themes to go with it. With books - sometimes we want a specific theme to go with the bookshelf!!
We debuted the first version at Lore and Luster, but quickly realized we needed to improve it.
So- here’s version 2 😁
We themed cute library cards (a little retro) with the contents of the kits. Shout out to my brother who makes the cutest 3D print trinkets for the shelves!!!

Happy World Oceans Day!!!!
Heres a factoid about me - I graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Oceanography 🌊
I really wanted to study coral reefs and the effects of ocean acidification.
My senior thesis involved my class doing a weekly night tour around the Hawaiian islands. I went out on the zodiac and collected water samples and video of the coral reefs. I absolutely love my degree, and i will always vote for ocean vacations.
