We heard orcas in Colvos Passage today
Thank you Patty! 8/13/18 an Orca was seen quite close to the shore off of Ruston Way near Northern Fish Products. 11:15
orca: 9:00 AM - orcas just north of Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Appeared to be 4, incl. calf. Generally Northbound, but playing & milling.
Are we too noisy for the whales?
From Orca Network: 8:10 At least 3 mid channel between Pt Defiance and Vashon viewed from ferry. Rounded pt from narrows but no obvious direction now
Orcas reported in the Narrows near the bridges.
Keep your eyes open! Whales are in the area today.
Reports of at least 4 orcas headed toward Pt Defiance from the south!
