🇺🇸⚽ What an incredible day at Seattle’s 2nd FIFA World Cup match as the USA faced Australia!

There is something powerful about seeing Americans from every corner of our nation gather together around a common goal—celebrating, cheering, and uniting in a spirit of hope and community. The atmosphere was electric as thousands filled the city, creating unforgettable moments and connections.

We are especially grateful for the Church united in action! Together with Victory Beyond the Cup, Victory Seattle, Grace Community Church Auburn, REACH, Hope is Alive Church, Compassion Washington Ministries, and many other churches across Seattle and the Puget Sound, believers stepped out in faith to share the love, hope, and truth of Jesus Christ with visitors from around the world.

Every conversation, prayer, smile, and act of kindness was an opportunity to be ambassadors of the God of all Hope. May God continue to bless these efforts as we welcome the nations to our city and shine His light wherever He leads us.

The World Cup is more than a game—it is a mission field at our doorstep.

💙 Compassion Washington is mobilizing volunteers to participate in STEP FOR FREEDOM, a community outreach initiative that takes place 3 hours before each World Cup match in Seattle.

Volunteers will:
✅ Hand out anti-human trafficking awareness materials
✅ Engage in brief, compassionate conversations with community members
✅ Offer prayer and encouragement
✅ Help raise awareness and protect vulnerable individuals
✅ Be a visible presence of hope and freedom

No special experience is required—just a willing heart and a desire to make a difference.
