It was at this moment I knew it was going to be a long day.
On a mold test call today. As part of our mold testing, we offer a free visual inspection. During this inspection I looked along the sides of the dishwasher to check for moisture and lo and behold, the fountain of youth. Now this homeowner is able to file a simple insurance claim for water damage from the dishwasher leak. Which is a much easier claim than a long term mold claim which almost no standard insurance policy covers.
Just another way that calling an experienced inspector can save you a lot of money in the long run.
