Nina (DOB 3/20/2018) is an 8-year-old 85 lb spayed pit bull mix who absolutely adores people. She is affectionate, house-trained, and happiest when she is close to her humans. One of her favorite things to do is slowly scoot closer and closer before performing a “trust fall” into your lap, fully expecting to be caught and cuddled. If you hold your arms open, she knows exactly what a hug is.

She loves attention, companionship, and being included in daily life. Nina has never been aggressive toward people and is deeply bonded to her family.

Unfortunately, after many years of living with another dog, Nina developed dog reactivity and can no longer safely live with other dogs. Because of this, she is seeking a pet-free home where she can be the center of attention and thrive as someone’s devoted companion.

This is an incredibly difficult decision, and my goal is simply to find the right home where she can be safe, loved, and happy.

The couple who adopted Blue are getting divorced and cannot bring him to their next homes. They are brokenhearted, but hope to find a great 2nd home for this sweet boy. He is great with dogs and cats. He should not be in a home with young children as he is sensitive to loud noises and fast movements.

Blue was raised in a home with two deaf individuals and understands about 30 signs. He is very vocal and once you get to know his noises, you will know exactly what he is saying to you. He has a great personality!

Blue has had knee surgery so he cannot jump, but can walk, run, and will get on a couch only if you invite him up! He can use stairs but takes his time. He loves going on walks and does not pull on a leash. He loves the park and enjoys sunbathing.

Meet Nani!
Nani is a 4-year-old Pit Bull Mastiff mix with a whole lot of love to give. She is current on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, house trained, and crate trained.

Nani is a girl who knows what she likes, sunny spots in the yard, fast zoomies, going on walks, and a good bone to keep her busy. Nani went to school with her foster family and learned that her kennel is a safe place and how to walk on a leash without feeling afraid. She requestes evey day to end the same way: cuddled up as close as she can get to her humans. She is a true lover girl. At 100lbs he believes she is a lap dog and will not be taking any questions on the matter.

Nani would do best as the only dog in the home. She can be food aggressive around other animals. Nani really is the center of attention anyway. Loud noises can make her anxious (like her arch nemasis the w**d wacker), but she has medicine that helps her feel safe and settled.

Nani is loyal, loving, and ready to find her forever family. If you are looking for a sunny-day sidekick who doubles as a world-class cuddler, she is your girl.

This is Piglet the house hippo! She is a lovely staffy mix, 3yrs old, 65lbs. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, house trained, and has a recent clean bill of health from the vet!

Piglet is a certified lover girl! She loves people and LOVES snuggles. Her favorite things are balls, looking out the window, and falling asleep sitting up. She is relatively low energy, romping around in the yard for a bit is enough for her, although she also loves fetch (mostly the “chase the ball” part). Piglet is crate trained and has been left alone for an 8-9hr work day. She is very smart and loves working on training and learning new tricks!

We recently adopted Piglet from the Humane Society, however we are hoping to find her a new home due to some issues with family members’ small dogs. Bringing her back to the shelter is unfortunately not an option.

Piglet would do best being an only child, soaking up all the love. As you can tell from the pictures of her sitting on the couch, she’s pretty sure she’s a person, and doesn’t get along great with other animals. Piglet’s ideal home would be as a house hippo/companion in a home with a fenced yard, especially with folks who have previous experience with pitbulls!

Do to some unfortunate reasons I have to rehome my sweet Mila. Mila is a good dog but she isn’t without her issues, mainly she has separation anxiety and dog aggression. She would do best in a home with an experienced owner and be the only pet. She does very well with people of all ages but gets a bit excited when giving love and could knock over smaller kids. She loves walks, hikes, and is a tug of war champ. She is up to date on all her shots, spayed, and house trained. She knows some basic commands like sit, lay down, shake, high five, and touch.

Goose is a 7-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/Boxer mix who is spayed, house-trained, and crate-trained. She’s incredibly loving, enjoys cuddling, and also has a fun, high-energy side—she loves to play and give lots of kisses.

She knows basic commands like sit and place and does well with structure. Goose does best with male dogs but needs a home without female dogs due to past conflicts. She has worked with a behavioral trainer and has had support managing this.

Goose would thrive in a home where she can get lots of love, attention, and consistency. She will make a loyal and affectionate companion to the right person or family.

Scout is a 7-year-old German Shepherd–Pitt-Golden Lab mix who is a loyal, affectionate, and adventure-ready companion looking for the right home. She is sweet, smart, and eager to please, forming strong bonds with her people and thriving in a calm, structured environment. She is quick to from strongs bonds with her people. Scout does great on walks as she is trained on a prong collar and responds well to clear guidance. She enjoys both relaxing at home or getting outside for an adventure. She is healthy and up to date on all vaccines. Scout would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children, as she needs a more predictable environment. She requires controlled introductions to other dogs but currently lives happily with a large dog companion. She should avoid a home with small animals due to her prey drive. With an experienced owner who can provide consistency and structure, Scout will be an incredibly loving and devoted companion.
